About the Role

This position demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of plant-specific nuclear maintenance and technical training programs (Chemistry, Engineering, Maintenance: Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical, and Radiation Protection).

Responsibilities

• Drive clean energy center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through training.
• Coordinate and conduct performance-based maintenance and technical training programs in alignment with Constellation's systematic approach to training, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.
• Ensure training programs remain current by incorporating insights from INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), NRC Bulletins and Information Notices, CEC design changes, procedure revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.
• Prepare trainee examinations and conduct evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments; provide counseling and recommend individualized training programs based on results.
• Support CEC and fleet initiatives, including project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness, and special projects.
• Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits; prepare responses to audit findings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills, and techniques to deliver high-quality training.
• Supervise the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports to document training program activities.
• Perform additional duties as directed, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage support in roles outside the department.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED with 3 years of nuclear technical discipline experience or 5 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience, OR
• Associate's/Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., chemistry, engineering, health physics, mathematics, physics), education, or training with 2 years of related technical discipline experience or 4 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience.
• Meet or exceed ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (4.5.4) Standard for "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants."
• Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and pass favorable medical examination/testing in accordance with position duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in delivering training.
• Knowledge of and experience with the systematic approach to training (SAT).

Pay

Expected salary range of $105,300 to $117,000, varying based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
