About the Role
A large Southeastern law firm is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Corporate practice group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of substantive experience in M&A and private equity work, with a strong record of managing complex deal flow. Responsibilities include independently supervising junior associates, overseeing and executing due diligence workstreams, and handling the preparation and negotiation of ancillary documents. The role also requires significant involvement in drafting and negotiating primary transaction documentation. A strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand and apply business concepts are essential.
Requirements
- Law Degree
- Eligibility for North Carolina Bar admission is preferred

Pay
Annual salary range: $225,000 – $300,000 USD
