M&A Analyst Senior

About the role

The M&A Analyst Sr role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Responsibilities

• Owns and performs the financial modeling and development of the target projection model.
• Conducts target valuation and financial return analysis (i.e., discounted cash flow analysis, accretion dilution analysis, ROIC analysis, etc.).
• Supports the due diligence processes.
• Performs financial statement analysis and provides guidance, review, and analytical support to junior associates as needed.
• Conducts industry, market, and competitor analysis to evaluate strategic fit, market attractiveness, competitive positioning, transaction activity, and valuation benchmarks for potential M&A opportunities.

Requirements

• Requires a BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting and a minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, transaction services, consulting, or similar; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Financial modeling skills required.

• Experience supporting M&A due diligence workstreams, including financial, operational, commercial, legal, regulatory, and integration-related diligence.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and transaction process fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail.

The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company. The salary range is the range Elevance Health in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Schedule

Associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.
