About the role
The position is a true full-stack role, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to add-value across the entire acquisition lifecycle (researching, meeting with prospects, analyzing & crafting theses, & conducting diligence).
Responsibilities
- Support the acquisition strategy by researching potential targets and presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Conduct due diligence on target companies, including financial analysis and market research.
- Develop and present investment theses to secure funding for acquisitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acquired businesses and ensure smooth transition.
Qualifications and Skills
- Direct experience in M&A, transaction advisory, management consulting, or investment banking.
- A strong understanding of software and VMS (Vendor Management Systems).
- Financial literacy and analytical ability: ability to interpret financial statements, build financial models, and perform thorough and thoughtful analysis.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: articulate communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills, capable of clearly conveying the investment philosophy and value proposition.
- Organizational discipline: strong planning and prioritization; meticulous detail orientation; ability to manage multiple parallel opportunities.
- Self-starter with integrity: proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently; high emotional intelligence.
