About the role

The CHEP LVR Representative will execute multiple less-than-truckload deliveries and collections daily, focusing on route and volume optimization through customer and internal support partnerships. You’ll be actively involved in developing and implementing key growth components of the CHEP LVR (Low Volume Recovery) Program, partnering with multiple internal functions, building and executing project plans, and leading teammates through training of new processes.

Daily reporting location: Kent, Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a CHEP-owned box truck (or similar equipment) in full compliance with DOT regulations and CHEP safety standards.
  • Execute efficient delivery and collection of pallets and other assets at designated locations.
  • Document and report site conditions, recovery challenges, and all delivery/collection data (times, mileages, volumes, customer comments) accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with local customers on program compliance to drive efficiencies and increase collection volumes.
  • Visit potential collection locations to explain the CHEP LVR Program, gather data, and add locations to the customer base.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement improved processes focusing on key performance areas within LVR operations.
  • Partner with internal resources to build and execute project plans.
  • Serve as a resource and trainer for LVR Representatives on key performance areas.

Requirements

  • Willing to lift 65 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card with no restrictions.
  • Able to execute and optimize provided delivery/collection routes.
  • Strong communication and on-the-fly problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and developing relationships with new customers.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to lead peers.

Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-stop driving, DOT & safety compliance ownership, and route optimization/management.
  • Experience in local customer relationship building and front-line operations leadership.
  • New customer development experience (desired).
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with routing management apps/software (desired).
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish is desirable.
