LVN Training Coordinator - Central Practice Support - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days
About the role
This position has responsibility to coordinate and conduct the clinical and business training for employees working in the outpatient practices. Develops training plans and training materials as needed.
Responsibilities
- Completes full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
- Works collaboratively with a variety of internal and external customers (staff, peers, managers, medical staff, community groups, affiliated facilities)
- Understands LVN scope of practice
- Knowledge of medications, medical terminology, and standard medical equipment used in Primary care and Specialty care practices
- Demonstrates sound critical thinking and integrates clinical concepts into daily tasks and training
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Knowledge or experience in clinical/business operations
- Knowledge of Medical terminology
- Able to communicate clearly using good written and verbal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
- Health system electronic medical record experience preferred such as EPIC and MyChart
Requirements
Completion of Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Program - Required
Experience: 5 years Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Ambulatory - Multi-specialty Setting - Preferred and 12 months Information Technology - Healthcare Technology - Preferred
Certifications/Licensures: LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse - California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians - Required
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required

Pay
Pay Range: $38.04 - $51.35 Hourly
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
