Role: Center Medical Specialist in a plasma donation center, responsible for donor assessment, education, and safety. Perform physical examinations and review medical history to determine donor eligibility.Build rapport with donors, ensuring customer satisfaction and confidentiality.Educate donors on health, potential hazards, and test result implications.Evaluate and manage donor injuries or adverse events.Assess donor health history, medications, and suitability for donation.Assist in staff training and administer employee hepatitis vaccination program. Qualifications & Skills Licensed or certified as EMT-Basic, EMT-Advanced, Paramedic, RN, LPN, or VVN in the state of employment.Current CPR certification required.Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and reaching.Excellent hand-eye coordination, vision, hearing, and communication skills.Ability to work independently, adapt to changing demands, and handle sensitive information.Comfortable working in a biological environment with exposure to fluids and cold temperatures, using personal protective equipment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct donor assessments, provide health education, evaluate injuries, assist with training, and ensure donor safety and confidentiality in a plasma donation setting.
