About the Role

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT), you will provide recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. You will ensure the safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Use a company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups as needed.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program and current licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certificate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR, First Aid, and CPI (hands-on course) certified on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care; maintain certification throughout employment.
• Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to transport clients.

All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.

Pay

Expected starting wage range is $29.33 - $36.24 per hour. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges based on the location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Schedule

Part-Time, AM shift: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday – Friday.

Shift differentials for hourly staff: 6% for PM shift, 10% for NOC shift. Weekend shift differentials: 5% for Weekend AM shift, 11% for Weekend PM shift, 15% for Weekend NOC shift.

About the Program

Jeremy House is a short-term, voluntary 6-bed crisis residential program that expands the menu of crisis services available in the county. It helps reduce the use of involuntary treatment by focusing on recovery supports and principles. The typical length of stay is 12 days, with a maximum of 30 days.
