Responsible for performing direct care activities and working within an interdisciplinary team. Functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing delegated functions and appropriate nursing interventions while maintaining accountability for nursing knowledge and skills in accordance with hospital policy, procedure, and philosophy.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of Texas
- Certification level courses (ACLS, NRP, etc.) as per department-specific competencies
- Stroke, cardiac, and ortho education as per department-specific competencies
- Current BLS certification in all areas
