About the role

El Cajon Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in El Cajon, CA, part of Acadia Healthcare’s Comprehensive Treatment Centers, provides medication‑assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. The nursing team delivers compassionate, high‑quality, safe and efficient medication dispensing to patients seeking recovery. As a Dispensing Nurse (LPN/LVN), you will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vital signs, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure safe and effective treatment while upholding professional standards and clinic policies.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director while maintaining professional standards of care.
• Prepare and administer medication as ordered by the Medical Director or Program Physician accurately and in a timely manner.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records promptly and accurately, including notes on progress and activities.
