About the role

Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. The LVN will provide quality nursing care to our residents while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Assist with care planning and communicate resident needs to the interdisciplinary team.
• Support CNAs and other nursing staff in providing quality resident care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow all applicable state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current and active California LVN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• Ability to provide professional and resident-centered care.

Pay & Schedule

• $38.00 per hour
• Part-time employment
