Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up merchandise at customers’ homes and work sites, providing answers to product questions and behaving professionally.
• Verify truck loads to ensure conformance with shipping documents.
• Check truck’s equipment and supplies to ensure road worthiness.
• Unload product while maintaining the trip’s delivery schedule.
• Maintain all DOT and Marvin documentation requirements and regulations.
• Assist customers in the lumberyard with orders and loading.
• Operate forklift for unloading and loading of trucks.
• Maintain the appearance of the lumberyard, warehouses, and products.
• Assist customers inside the store and at the lumber desk as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver’s license (CDL) with a safe driving record, meeting all DOT requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills that represent Marvin professionally.
• Physically able to load and unload trailers and pass a physical assessment to a very heavy level.
• Prior knowledge of building products and experience in basic construction.
• Able to become certified to drive forklifts, boom lifts, skid steers, and all delivery vehicles.
• Able to use computers and learn the point-of-sale (POS) system with required training.

Pay

$21.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday – Friday with varied hours; rotating weekend work required.
