Lumber Grader- Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality standards by monitoring product continuously.
• Grades lumber manually by inspecting each board and documenting quality and quantity.
• Accurately enters inspection results into a computer system.
• Completes grading reports using computer systems and analyzes discrepancies between company grading results and supplier invoices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 9 months of lumber grading experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
• Knowledge of hardwood lumber grades.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $22.00-27.00 per hour, based on experience.
