Lufa Farms Production Kitchen Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members during daily tasks to ensure efficiency and quality;
• Train new team members and provide ongoing guidance as needed;
• Prepare fresh juices, smoothies, and other beverages following established recipes;
• Safely operate and maintain juicing equipment, blenders, and other appliances;
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen environment, including equipment and storage areas;
• Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines, including cleaning dishes and storing ingredients properly;
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for fresh produce and supplies;
• Receive and organize deliveries, ensuring proper storage for freshness;
• Ensure consistent quality of juices, smoothies, and other menu items;
• Track and rotate ingredients to maintain freshness and prevent waste;
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to support smooth night operations;
• Affix in closing tasks, including securing the kitchen and prepping for the next day;
• Adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols for handling and storing food and maintaining equipment.

Requirements

• Some management experience of any kind;
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment;
• Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends;
• Good organizational skills to keep the kitchen and inventory running smoothly.

Assets

• Previous kitchen or food service experience;
• Familiarity with juicing equipment and kitchen appliances is a plus.
