About the role
The Lubrication Technician will service and perform light maintenance on mobile construction equipment at remote job sites. This includes changing fluids, greasing moving parts, changing filters, and cleaning equipment. The role requires extensive overnight travel throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Change oils in all compartments on equipment
- Prepare oil samples
- Change various filters on equipment
- Grease bearings and apply grease on friction surfaces
- Check and fill other fluid reservoirs such as hydraulic systems, coolant systems, brake systems, and washer fluid
- Maintain service truck inventories and supplies
- Report any defects in or on equipment to the supervisor
- Maintain proper documentation of service work performed
- Clean machinery cabs, glass, and mirrors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to operate various hand tools to perform service work
- Ability to complete work tasks under various weather conditions
- Knowledge of industrial and shop safety rules and procedures
Pay
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus (payable after 90 days of employment).
