Lube Technician – Suburban Cadillac of Troy

About the role

At Suburban Cadillac of Troy, we seek motivated individuals to join our team as Lube Technicians. This role involves performing routine maintenance and basic repairs, inspecting vehicles, and ensuring a top-notch service experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs efficiently and accurately in line with Cadillac and Lithia standards
• Inspect vehicles and identify potential issues or needed services
• Complete all work following safety guidelines and best practices
• Road test vehicles as needed to ensure quality and accuracy of repairs
• Accurately track time and document all work performed, including test results
• Maintain and properly use tools, equipment, and shop supplies
• Keep your workstation clean, organized, and inspection-ready daily
• Ensure every vehicle is returned to the customer in clean, like-received condition
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
• Communicate effectively with teammates and leadership to support customer satisfaction
• Uphold professional appearance and dealership standards at all times
• Follow scheduled work hours and shop procedures

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• A sense of urgency and ability to stay productive in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and team-first mindset
• Basic automotive knowledge or a strong desire to learn (no prior experience required)
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be 18 years old.
