Lube Technician - Poway Honda

Responsibilities

• Perform all automotive lubrication services (oil changes, topping off fluids, etc.).
• Conduct thorough checks of customer’s car (battery, lights, tires) and refer needed repairs or preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
• Receive repair orders from the Service Salesman or Production Foreman and service the vehicle on the lift.
• Lubricate the entire car while identifying other potential repair needs.
• Keep the customer’s car clean during service.
• Ensure all equipment, especially lifts, is in proper working order.
• Use materials and supplies efficiently without excess.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures; report accidents immediately to a manager or supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license verification.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• 1+ years of Automotive Service Technician experience (or Tire/Oil Change).
• ASE Certification and/or trade school certification.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Honda/Acura (or multi-brand) experience.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow directions, willingness to learn, and mentor teammates.
• Respect for teammates and a positive outlook.

Pay

$20.00 per hour (base hourly compensation).

Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Monday through Saturday availability required.
• Sundays off.
