Luau Bartender, Part Time

Brief Summary of Job

Duties and responsibilities as a Bartender for requests by servers of a non-public bar.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Prepares, mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Sets up bar for proper service.
• Responsible for adhering to applicable liquor laws.
• Ensures that the bar area is in a clean, orderly condition.
• May slice, pit and prepare items for garnishing drinks.
• Properly store all product.
• Keeps supplies and equipment ready.
• Report any missing/found articles or equipment/property damage to management.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages.
• Minimum two (2) years of bartending experience in banquets, events, and/or Hotel F&B outlet required.
• High school or equivalent education.
• Ability to operate a computerized point of sale system.
• TB clearance card required.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements

• English speaking or bilingual.
• Operate cash register.
• Able to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
• Dependable.

Pay

Rate of Pay: $29.09/hour
