LTspice Modeling Engineer

Position Overview

As ADI expands into new product and market segments, the Multi-Market Power Group (MMP) is looking for a Senior LTspice Modeling Engineer who will be responsible for:

• Creating LTspice simulation models.
• Maintaining and debugging existing models, working closely with the Modeling Team.
• Special projects involving technology improvements to our tools and techniques to maintain our competitive advantage.
• Interfacing with IC Designers, Application Engineers, Marketing and Sales, and Management.
• Maintain good and professional communications dialog with both internal and external customers.

What You Need to Be Successful in This Role

• BSEE or MSEE with 5+ years of experience and either deep experience in switching power converters or analog IC design.
• A passion to do modeling.
• A strong background in analog and digital circuits, with circuit analysis techniques.
• Strong analytic skills along with power electronics and control theory.
• IC applications experience a plus, modern laboratory equipment use a plus.
• Some level and knowledge of programming useful, MatLab/Simulink, Python, and C/C++.
• Good technical writing and presentation skills.
• Must possess good communication skills and have the ability to work as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

Qualifications

• Required: BSEE or MSEE with 5+ years of experience.
• Preferred: Deep experience in switching power converters or analog IC design.
