Requirements
- Active and valid PA School Counselor Certification
- Previous experience as a middle school counselor preferred
- Good communication skills and a history of or ability to create good working relationships with staff, students, and parents
- Familiarity with and preferably experience supporting elementary age school students and their needs
- Ability to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of assessment tools as well as interpret data
- Strength in applying data to instructional practices when making decisions about interventions
- Knowledge of the ASCA model and MTSS structure
If hired for employment, the applicant must be able to submit the following:
- Criminal Record Check (less than one year old)
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old)
- FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old)
- TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old)
- Physical - if applicable (less than 1 year old)
