LTS Foreman

About the role

Centuri Group is a utility infrastructure enterprise committed to safely delivering gas, electric, and utility services. As a Foreman, you will lead construction crews, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Perform all of the responsibilities of a Journeyman Lineman
• Oversee crew administration and equipment management
• Work with employees, customers, and the public
• Follow all safety and performance standards
• Maintain time and material records for the assigned job
• Complete required company training, including safety training
• Perform Administrative duties as required
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the electrical services industry
• OSHA Competent Person Certified
• Experience leading a crew
• Experience reviewing plans/blueprints to ensure projects meet all building/code requirements
• CDL license or ability to acquire CDL permit within 60 days of hire

Work Environment

• Outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
• All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English
• Prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
• Working within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
• Constantly alert and safe working environment

Legal Stuff

• Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
• Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
• Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required
• Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
