About the role
The Project Manager (PM) at FORTNA is responsible for overseeing material handling projects up to a $40M budget. Key responsibilities include managing cross-departmental teams, communicating with customers, scheduling project activities, resolving installation issues, and recruiting and evaluating new talent.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects up to $40M budget
- Work effectively with other departments and subcontractors
- Communicate with customers
- Schedule and maintain engineering activities
- Develop solutions to installation and mechanical issues
- Communicate and collaborate with others and other departments
- Analyze progress and determine issues in the schedule
- Recruit and evaluate talent to grow the department
- Juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Makes tactical decisions and ensure their execution
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business or Construction Management, or related experience
- 5+ years' experience in the material handling industry or site project management
- Experience managing a department or focused work team
- Experience with detailed scheduling
- Experience working with customers in planning and troubleshooting issues
- Experience in coordinating department activities with other departments
- Experience managing a budget up to $40m
Skills
- Effective communication and collaboration

Pay
$105,900 to $145,000 annually
Schedule
This role requires 50% time on-site during project installations.
