About the role
LPP s.r.o. is a dynamic technology company based in Prague (Libeň) that works on interesting projects in the aerospace, defence and engineering sectors. The company is looking for a Project Manager to lead the development of hardware and software products, overseeing projects from initiation through planning, execution, reporting, hand‑over and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and realise HW + SW product development projects, managing all phases: initiation, planning, execution, reporting, hand‑over and evaluation.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the project sponsor to define project specifications.
- Build and lead the project team, manage communication within the project and allocate available resources.
- Ensure flawless cross‑team communication, analyse potential risks and implement preventive measures.
- Report project status, handle change management and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
- Oversee project hand‑over, control and manage financial resources, costs and revenues.
- Monitor adherence to schedule and budget.
Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering (or secondary/vocational education with graduation certificate).
- Orientation in both hardware and software development – at least a basic knowledge of each is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology or aerospace company.
- English language proficiency at least B2 level.
- Familiarity with project‑management standards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Technical affinity, flexible approach, organised and structured personality.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel), MS Project and preferably other project‑management tools.
- Valid driver’s licence category B.
