Job Overview
MGA Homecare is seeking passionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team. This role involves treating patients according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals, administering medication with precision and compassion, and educating patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
- Administer medication with expertise, taking charge of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and compassion, always ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care meticulously, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Educate patients and families on the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, fostering understanding and empowerment in managing their health effectively.
Requirements
- Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
- Experience in home health care or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of patients and their families.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a licensed practical nurse program.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Proficiency in administering medications and treatments.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Pay
Compensation is dependent on experience, tenure, and number of hours worked. The bottom range indicates little to no experience, while working 30 hours per week. The top range indicates highly skilled and experienced clinicians surpassing full-time minimum requirement of 30 hours completed weekly.
