Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff.
- Ensure residents receive high-quality, individualized care.
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Complete and review nursing documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning.
- Promote infection prevention and safety standards throughout the unit.
- Mentor and educate nursing staff while fostering a positive team culture.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory surveys.
Qualifications
- Current Montana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Passion for providing exceptional resident-centered care.
