LPN Unit Manager

Objective Supervises nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient’s needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines. Principal Responsibilities Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of clinical policies and procedures. Understands, participates and assists in implementing policies reviewed and decided as an IDT member using best practice QAA methods. Utilizes clinical knowledge to monitor, assist, and support staff nurses with a direct hands-on approach. Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc. Conducts family and patient education. Other duties as indicated Qualifications Currently licensed as LPN/LVN in state. One-year prior nursing management experience preferred
