13-week contract opportunity in Utica, NY for a night-shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) in a Long-Term Care facility.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. This position offers consistent night shifts with guaranteed hours.

Schedule

• 8-Hour Nights: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• 37.5 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care setting
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to RN/Physician
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EMR (PointClick Care)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Float within the facility as needed

• Patient Population: MS, Orthopedic, Dementia, Memory Care

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year of LTC experience (Required)
• Active New York LPN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Experience with PointClick Care (EMR)
• NURSYS Report for license verification
• Valid Driver’s License (address must match profile)
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Travel experience (if applicable)
• Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted upfront

• Floating is required within the same building
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Overtime Policy

• Daily overtime after 24 hours (based on multiplier)
• Weekly overtime after 48 hours (based on multiplier)
