Summary/Objective
The ideal candidate should be an LPN or Medical Assistant who provides basic medical and nursing care, ensures patient comfort, discusses health care with patients, reports patient status, and assists with clinic procedures.
Essential Functions
- Summons and prepares patients for office visits.
- Applies principles of fetal growth and development in practice.
- Sets up rooms and trays for scheduled procedures.
- Aids providers with clinic procedures.
- Administers medications and/or vaccines as needed.
- Identifies and evaluates patient needs via telephone triage.
- Recognizes and responds appropriately to OB/GYN emergencies.
- Adheres to Nursing policies and procedures in documentation.
- Maintains active participation on the care team and may perform additional care coordination duties.
Requirements
LPN Specialist Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
- Active Florida state license.
- One (1) year prior experience in OB/GYN required, two (2) years preferred.
- CPR certification.
Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or one (1) year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last two (2) years.
- Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within ninety (90) days of employment.
- Current BLS certification or obtain within first ninety (90) days of employment.
Pay
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Full-time schedule is available.
