Summary/Objective
The ideal candidate should have experience as either an LPN or a Medical Assistant.
Essential Functions
- Identifies and evaluates patient needs via telephone triage.
- Administers medication, including injections, and documents as required.
- Identifies and provides patient and family education needs.
- Recognizes and responds appropriately to emergency situations.
- Adheres to Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting patient records.
- Facilitates patient flow to maintain office integrity.
- Assists physicians with medical office procedures.
- Maintains office integrity.
Requirements
LPN Specialist Requirements
- Required Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing, active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Potential Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements
- Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years, Medical Assistant Certification within 90 days of employment.
- Required Current BLS certification or obtain within first 90 days of employment.
