LPN Specialist - Breast Surgery - Full Time

About the role

This position involves providing essential nursing services to patients through telephonic triage, administering medications, educating patients and their families, responding to emergencies, and assisting physicians with office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and evaluates patient needs via telephone triage.
• Administers medication including injections, following physician orders.
• Identifies and addresses patient and family education needs.
• Recognizes and appropriately responds to emergency situations.
• Adheres to Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting patient information.
• Facilitates the smooth flow of patients to ensure the integrity of the physician's office.
• Affords support to physicians during medical office procedures.
• Maintains the operational integrity of the office environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
• Active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Prior experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse is preferred.
