LPN/School Based Nurse

Schedule

Current Openings: PRN – Mondays 7a‑5p, Tues‑Fri 7a‑3p. This is strictly a PRN position.

Pay

Compensation: $40 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Accompany student to and from home on transportation van
• Provide guidance and encouragement to help a teen succeed
• Take patient vitals, do assessments, document progress and report changes to RN Supervisor
• Assist RN in carrying out physician’s orders, patient care and prescribed treatments
• Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN License in PA
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of any state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Demonstrates clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication, and compassion
