LPN / RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse

Angels of Care Home Health provides private duty nursing in Buncombe and surrounding counties. We have been caring for the medically fragile community across the nation since 2000, guided by our values: Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed.

About the role

Angels of Care nurses provide direct, one-on-one medical care in patients’ homes, making a difference in the lives of infants, children, adolescents, and their families. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
• Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
• Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
• Coordinate care.
• Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes.
• Implement preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for the patient.

Requirements

• Active LPN or RN license (new graduates welcome; training provided).
• Ability to provide care in a client home setting.
• Ability to make a positive and lasting impression.
