About the role

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is a locally owned and managed healthcare provider serving communities in Moore County, Lee County, Cumberland County, Chatham County, and the surrounding six counties. PMC offers a broad range of primary and specialty care services, committed to patient-centered care led by physicians and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an essential part of the patient’s experience by providing skilled nursing services under the direction of a medical doctor, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant.
• Analyze patient health data to determine diagnoses and develop a plan of care with interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Implement the interventions in the plan of care and evaluate patient progress towards achieving outcomes, collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Collect patient health data, including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and allergies.
• Assure examination rooms are equipped with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Work with other office staff on the precertification process and assist with patient referrals.
• Be a key contributor to PMC's mission of providing high-quality care to patients and the communities served.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed as either a Registered Nurse or a Practical Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS certification in specialty areas as determined by accrediting bodies (Cardiology, Infusion, Rheumatology Infusion, CT & GI Endo) preferred.
• Two years of experience as either an RN or LPN in a clinical/ambulatory setting preferred.
• Experience with an EMR system preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with an EMR system is preferred.

Shift

Day Shift (Monday through Friday) with no weekends or holidays.

Pay

Hourly (Non-Exempt)
