Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Instruct and guide LPNs in client care responsibilities and assignments.
- Complete initial Nursing Assessments for new admissions.
- Administer medications according to protocols.
- Implement and deliver detox protocols effectively.
- Conduct COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients as per protocol.
- Provide medication education to clients, ensuring understanding of their treatments.
- Coordinate with medical providers for initial assessments and medication management appointments.
- Maintain medical equipment in proper working order while ensuring confidentiality and appropriate boundaries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Licensure, Education, & Experience
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certification.
