Responsibilities
- Provide nursing tasks within the scope of practice for an LPN with RN oversight
- Ensure accurate documentation on each patient's confidential clinical record is maintained including diagnostic assessment reports, individual plan of treatment, and treatment notes regarding services being recommended or delivered
- Review prescription call lines each day, pull and prepare medication tracking sheets, and communicate with specialist offices and diagnostic facilities to schedule appointments/testing and instruct patients on testing procedures
- Document vaccines, obtain blood specimens, and prepare to ship to lab
- Stock patient rooms before visits
Requirements
- Valid NYS LPN licensure
- Basic computer skills
- Clinic/Physician’s office and phlebotomy experience preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records system preferred (Cure MD a plus)
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include valid NYS LPN licensure, basic computer skills, clinic/physician’s office and phlebotomy experience, and experience with electronic medical records system (Cure MD preferred).

These factors may include shift differentials (weekend, evening, awake overnight), work location differentials and certifications. Pay
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will earn a compensation range of $20.30-29.03 per hour.
Schedule
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work full time, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.
