As a LPN Post-Op Tele, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn—whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. We are seeking a dynamic LPN to join our phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative, patient-centered care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate information to assist the Registered Nurse in the preparation and maintenance of an effective patient care plan.
• Reinforce instructions given to the patient by the physician and Registered Nurse and refer new needs for instruction to the Registered Nurse.
• Administer prescribed medications to patients under the specific policies and procedures.
• Take and record patients’ vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, weight, height, and prescription.
• Collect lab samples from patients, including blood and urine samples.
• Make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN)
• Vocational School Graduate
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Instructor certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• IV Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
