Responsibilities
- LPN - Inpatient: Works in collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.
- SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.
- Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.
Requirements
- HS Graduate or Equivalent GED.
- Technical Program Completion or Degree in Practical Nurse Program. OR applicants who have successfully completed the Practical Nurse Equivalency (PNEQ).
- Required Experience: 6 months Acute Care as a Patient Care Technician, Practical Nurse Apprentice, or Practical Nurse Intern (or a combination of time within these 3 roles). Or 6 months Acute Care as an LPN.
Qualifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support).
- LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - State of Florida.
