About the role
The LPN supports the physician and other staff members in delivering quality patient care, adhering to established standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provides quality clinical care to patients in various locations as assigned.
- Aids practitioners with patient care in an efficient and professional manner.
- Screens the health status of patients under the direction of the physician.
- Triage patient phone calls.
- Documents medical information accurately and appropriately.
- Understands and follows front office procedures.
- Maintains clinical equipment and supplies.
- Maintains professional accountability and responsibility.
- Provides age-appropriate care.
- Adheres to organizational policy and procedure.
- Adheres to the "Patient First" philosophy.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
- A minimum of one year of experience as an LPN in a primary care office, hospital, or urgent care center (preferred).
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent customer interaction skills.
- Current Ohio Nursing license, certified to dispense drugs.
- Current BLS certification.
