LPN - Physician Practice

About the role

The LPN supports the physician and other staff members in delivering quality patient care, adhering to established standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality clinical care to patients in various locations as assigned.
• Aids practitioners with patient care in an efficient and professional manner.
• Screens the health status of patients under the direction of the physician.
• Triage patient phone calls.
• Documents medical information accurately and appropriately.
• Understands and follows front office procedures.
• Maintains clinical equipment and supplies.
• Maintains professional accountability and responsibility.
• Provides age-appropriate care.
• Adheres to organizational policy and procedure.
• Adheres to the "Patient First" philosophy.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• A minimum of one year of experience as an LPN in a primary care office, hospital, or urgent care center (preferred).
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent customer interaction skills.
• Current Ohio Nursing license, certified to dispense drugs.
• Current BLS certification.
