Overview

Responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process.

Responsibilities

  • Assessments of patients are accurate, consistently performed and completed efficiently.
  • Accurate documentation of continuum of care.
  • Consistently demonstrates safe and accurate technical skills.
  • Demonstrates competency in the performance of all procedures routinely performed in the office.
  • Routinely demonstrates proper technique in operating all office/medical equipment.
  • Triaging of patients is accurate and complies with instructions rendered by provider.
  • Demonstrates competency in providing quality patient care.
  • Accurately follows provider directions.
  • Handles all specimens using proper technique.
  • Correctly labels and processes specimens.
  • Ensures proper preparation of specimens for lab courier transfer to Lab.
  • Conscious of biohazard safety as it relates to the job; manual delivery of specimens to lab, changing of gloves between patients.
  • Handles specimens using proper techniques, correctly labels for transfer to lab.
  • Routinely performs all nursing duties using appropriate PPE and in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Performs all job duties within the scope of practice and the organization's policies/procedures.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year L.P.N./R.N. experience, preferably in a Doctors Office.

Qualifications

  • RN - Registered Nurse (Essential)
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse (Essential)
  • BLS - Basic Life Saving certification (American Heart Association) (Essential)
  • LPN program graduate (Essential)

Pay

Entry USD $23.67/Hr. – Max USD $36.69/Hr.
