About the role
Provides patient care using the nursing process under supervision or the direction of a licensed professional, ensuring accountability for patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care across departments
- Maintain current licensure and certifications, including Basic Life Support
- Perform physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and turning patients with assistance, up to 50 pounds
- Possibly acquire additional certifications like IV within one year
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
- Current LPN license compliant with state requirements
- Open to both new and experienced LPNs
Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform required tasks
- Preferred certifications include IV certification and advanced life support where applicable
