LPN - Part Time Evenings - Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center
About the Role
We have an opportunity for an LPN to join our compassionate evening shift care team. We are willing to help train new nurses or those looking to explore a different venture of nursing. Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center (EMGC) is the flagship facility for the Eddy name, focusing on providing quality care for residents and support to our staff. At EMGC, we prioritize the comfort and well-being of our residents, ensuring they receive compassionate and personalized care.
Schedule
- Evenings: 3pm–11pm
- Rotating every other weekend
Earn a generous shift differential of $4 per hour for weekday evenings and $8 per hour for weekend evenings on top of the base rate.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to elderly residents, particularly those with Alzheimer’s or similar conditions
- Communicate effectively in a fast-paced work environment
- Engage within a team setting to deliver person-centered care
- Contribute to a supportive and joyful environment for residents
Requirements
- Valid NYS LPN license
- 1+ year of experience as an LPN (willing to train the right candidate)
- Passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field
Pay
Pay range: $24.00 – $30.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.
