About the role
This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is responsible for overseeing nursing care on their shift, including medication administration, treatments, documentation, and emergency response, all in accordance with established standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise direct care staff
- Conduct resident rounds
- Communicate with physicians and families
- Develop and update resident care plans
- Maintain residents' dignity and safety
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Support restorative practices to promote resident independence
Requirements
- Relevant nursing experience
- Higher pay offered for candidates with over two years of experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living
