What You'll Help With

Transforms healthcare by providing practical nursing support in a physician practice or clinic setting. Ensures compliance with all relevant policies and standards.

• Demonstrates knowledge of patient growth and development to provide appropriate care.
• Completes patient assessments, prepares patients for provider evaluations, administers medications and injections, coordinates tele-retinal and tele-dermatology clinic setup, maintains work areas, documents patient information, provides patient teaching, assists with referrals and pre-authorizations, performs lab procedures, and operates x-ray equipment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or new graduate of an approved program eligible for Virginia licensure.
• One year experience in a physician office preferred.
• Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Virginia (LPN).
• Licensure as a Radiologic Technician Limited if performing radiology.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification required.

• Positive demeanor, good verbal and written communication skills, and professional appearance and approach.
• Problem-solving and effective communication skills.
• Ability to use automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
• Keyboarding skills for automated computer systems.

Pay & Benefits

Compensation range: $21.61 - $30.25 per hour. Referral bonus program eligibility applies. Employee pay is based on various factors including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
