LPN or RN, Part Time Night

About the role

The LPN/LVN is responsible for providing clinical care to residents in the neighborhood according to the nursing standards of practice, board of nursing, and Erickson Senior Living standards.

Schedule

11 p.m.–7 a.m., 1 weekday and every other weekend in Skilled.

Pay

Up to $37/hr for LPN, $49/hr for RN, plus differential.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, focusing on placing the resident first
• Assess, observe, and evaluate resident’s clinical condition, document findings in the resident electronic medical record, and notify the provider and/or RN when necessary
• Update or modify care plans as needed to reflect any changes to a resident’s care and service needs
• Supervise and lead care associates
• Administer medications timely, accurately, and according to orders
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care
• Respond to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner
• Participate in the review of clinical indicator reviews – falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred
• Licensed by the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• CPR certification required
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred
• Specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable and take precedence over the requirements outlined in the job description
