LPN or RN: Full-time Saturday, Sunday, Monday - (Tampa)

About the role
This posting is for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN). The schedule is Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM. There are no other schedules currently available.
Responsibilities
- Complies with nursing policies and procedures to ensure nursing standards are met.
- Promotes optimal health for clients.
- Administers medications and treatments per physician’s orders and in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Administers medications via all routes, without restriction, including controlled substances.
- Assists clients with all health and medical devices, including but not limited to: glasses, hearing devices, tracheotomies, G/J tubes, colostomies, urostomies, apnea monitors, CPAP machines, ventilators, oxygen, oxygen concentrators, nebulizer machines, suction devices, suctioning toothbrushes, etc.
- Monitors clients for seizures, medication side effects, signs, and symptoms of illness, and provides necessary nursing interventions.
- Informs the physician of health status changes, accidents, and injuries of clients. Notifies Director of Nursing or Health Care Coordinator of emergency situations.
- Assists with quality assurance reviews, files documents in charts, and purges charts.
- Assists with Respiratory Therapy and IV Therapy as needed, including pushing IV medications and mixing of IV medications.
- Assists with clinical evaluations and assessment of medication administration and/or understanding of medical procedures of clients.
- Attends and participates in meetings and trainings.
- Ensures client’s mealtime procedures and therapeutic positioning procedures, including client transfers, are followed.
- Reports to work for scheduled shifts. May be scheduled to work other shifts, holidays, and weekends to provide nursing coverage.
- Reports to work during inclement weather to provide nursing coverage and assist with emergency procedures.
- Participates in outings and appointments, including but not limited to: loading and unloading clients on and off vehicles, monitoring clients during transport, and assisting clients during outings.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Registered Nurses (RN).
- Current unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida.
- Florida Driver’s License with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship from our company now or in the future.
- Effectively communicate at all levels, write, and speak English using acceptable grammar, punctuation, and spelling; understand and follow multi-step written and verbal instructions.
Pay
- LPN Pay rate: $29.50/hour
- RN Pay rate: $35.50/hour
Schedule
Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
