LPN or RN - Full Time Nights

About the role

This position is a full-time night position. Open to either an LPN or RN. Night shift: 6pm to 6:30am. Extra night differential $2.50/hr and location premium.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Collaborate with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population specific standards in the assigned clinical setting.
• Care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinate care, perform resident assessments, provide resident education and perform various other nursing interventions.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and competence levels.
• Provide adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns.
• Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Pay

• LPN Wage: $26 to $36 per hour
• RN Wage: $34 to $48 per hour
• $25,000 Sign on Bonus
