About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to work in the Oncology Unit at Cabell Huntington Hospital. The position involves working under the direction of a Registered Nurse to assist in providing optimal nursing care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Integrates skills and knowledge to provide patient-centered nursing care to meet the patient needs.
• Affords assistance to the healthcare team in preventing illness and injury, maintaining wellness, and providing comfort.
• Collaborates with the Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care.

Requirements

• Current West Virginia license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Completion of an approved LPN program.
• Current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
