About the role
The Recovery Center at Sarpy is a 16-bed facility serving residents 19+ with serious mental illnesses experiencing related difficulties. Telecare seeks an LPN to provide recovery-focused services including medication administration and direct care.
Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with members served
- Provides nursing care and assists in admission and discharge processes
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and attends treatment planning meetings
- Administers medication and treatments, documents progress towards recovery goals
- Coordinates medication counts and gives reports, acts as a team member
- Supports medical and psycho-social care, administers oral and injectable medications
- Acts as a crisis manager, notifies prescribers and supervisors of changes in behavior
- Participates in community meetings and groups, maintains CPR, BLS, and First Aid certifications
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program and current LPN licensure
- Current CPR/BLS certificate
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous experience with population to be served and/or similar program settings preferred
- Understanding of psychiatric illness and psychotropic medication

Benefits
Telecare offers competitive pay with geographic differentials, shift differentials, and weekend differentials. The expected starting wage range is $23.64 - $29.22 per hour, with additional benefits based on performance and qualifications.
Pay
Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. Shift differentials apply for PM, Overnight, Weekend AM, Weekend PM, and Weekend Overnight shifts.
Schedule
Shifts available include On-Call, Days, and varying shifts as needed. Weekend shifts offer additional differentials.
