Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on patient care with clinical judgment and independence
- Administer medications and treatments accurately
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to medical needs promptly
- Assist with sick call, chronic care clinics, and health assessments
- Perform intake screenings and maintain precise documentation
- Collaborate with RNs, healthcare providers, and custody staff to ensure continuous care
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience in correctional or similar healthcare settings preferred
Schedule
Full-time, 12-hour night shift rotation
