LPN Nurse - starting $33.55 an hour

About the role

Join our EPIC Culinary Team at Wellbridge of Pinckney! Our Skilled Nurses provide specialized care to patients in various medical areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as necessary, utilizing the latest technology and being part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of patients and implement care as necessary.
• Perform treatments such as wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and advise patients and families on medication changes, treatment plans, and patient conditions.
• Provide preventative and supportive care to promote the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Oversight of the Nurse Aide team, including giving direction, assignments, providing training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.

Requirements

• A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Michigan.
• CPR-BLS certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• Analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care, and develop solutions to problems.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
• Team player with dedication to supporting team members and getting the job done.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Michigan.
• CPR-BLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.

Pay

$33.55 per hour starting wages! Plus $3.40 per hour Hero Pay! Yearly Wage Increases.

Schedule

We can work with your scheduling needs: 12 hour Shifts - all shifts include rotating weekends plus some holidays. Full Time.
